Referees are needed
Every Season we are faced with the challenge of not enough mature referees to cover the U13, U15, and U17 games.
One of the solutions is to encourage parents, older siblings and former players to take the referee clinic.
We also encourage players to consider refereeing. A player can take the course if they turn 13 during 2025. The U15 referees are limited to do U9 and U11 games.
Clinic certification is the first step.
The second step is to attend a session at the covered outdoor box to go over signals, positioning and communication.
The third step is to have the new referees do some games with an experienced referee to gain confidence and comfort in the role of a game official.
During the season former and qualified referees try to attend as many games as possible to mentor new referees.
If you know of anyone who may be interested but would like more information please have them contact ndlaheadref@gmail.com.
Refund Policy
If a request to withdraw is received by the NDLA Registrar prior to or on April 15 of the current playing year, 100% of player registration fee, less a $25 processing fee, will be refunded (this assumes the player has not attended any NDLA event including evaluation, balancing, clinics, practices or games).
If the player has attended any of the events listed above, a $50 BCLA fee will be deducted from the registration, plus the $25 processing fee.
If the request received by Registrar after April 15 and before May 15 of current playing year, 50% of player registration fee less the current BCLA registration fee amounts.
After May 15 of current playing year 0% of player registration fee will be refunded.
All information collected during registration will only be used by my local lacrosse association and the British Columbia Lacrosse Association for registration purposes. The information collected will not be shared with any parties outside of the BC Lacrosse Association and its members.
